I had a baby silver around 2"-2.5" in a 29g with my peacock basses but noticed some aggression so i took everyones advice and moved him to my 55 gallon which was cycling for some time ago. When i moved him from my peacock basses tank he was in kind of a bad condition with a droopy tail and a slight droopy back. Now is he as healthy as ever and i bought 2 more friends in with him about a week ago. So i have total of 3 baby silvers in a 55g. All are on feeders as for now cuz they wont take krill! :irked:

Not the best pics why you get an idea... :)
couldnt get a pic of all 3 of them.....best i can do was 2 in pic :(

Tyr feeding freeze dryed blood worms and flake food, get them off the feeders as soon as you can. You are gonna have quite the handful before long, what are your plans for these guys.

i think that they're not taking to the krill b/c of the hard shell on the krill...as said before try f/d blood worms and or flakes for now...untill they get some size on them ;)

also, getting them off of feeders is a good idea, b/c later on it will be hard for them to get onto pellets..getting them onto non-live food now will make it easier for you to get them onto pellets and market shrimp in the future..

freeze dried bloodworms wore great so does the mini floating pellets

Will do thanks guys. my plans are to move them into a 125gallon until they reach around 18"-20" then move them into a 240g+ for life or maybe into a pond which i will invest in some time. :)

They are greedy now and will be easily trained to take pellets or watever we want them to take.

Plankton works well for small aros. They really will go after anything you put in there.
