Just spawned ctenolucius hujeta by accident.

So I was not planning on this and I am a little surprise cuz I thought this fish would not breed in aquarium. I did get it on film late last night and will post a link to the video when I'm off work. My question s are, if any do hatch what should I feed, second has anyone else spawned these fish? Bad news is that most eggs went in the overflow but I shut it off when I realized what was going on.

yes that is the female
Just looked in my sump and I guess the eggs do hatch in 24 hrs. there are some tiny little fry in there. I more than likely will not try and save any, but if they for some reason they start to grow a little in there I will take them out

Funny you said that Raising small fry sucks...... But I broke down and did catch a few, I killed about every other one I caught. Here's a video of the fry and my little set up for them. You have to look close but you can see the fry, they have a stripe pattern to them. They are about 1/8" long and around 1/32" thick

Sorry about the quality of the video, there just so small. They have a sticky heads too right now, like other small egg laying fish. So they are attaching to everything. I have hundreds of them off over my filter and inside the main tank. If they find anything to eat they will more than likely be free swimming in a day or so.
