just started aquascaping

kind of a stupid question haha, but i bought a bunch of plants and they come with little container like things and fuzzy stuff that the plant is rooted in; my question is do i remove the little container thing and shake off the fuzzy stuff the plants are rooted in?

Hi,
the 'fuzzy' stuff is called rock wool I think?
I don`t think it would have any adverse effects if you planted them as they are, but removing the pot and rock wool will enable the roots to spread better.
I always remove mine.
