Decided to bring the tank out after two years in storage. A little worse for wear but I'll make it work.

Through in some left over fluorite I had and picked up a couple plants from work. Hopefully I'll be adding to it over the next couple months. Sorry for the streaks didn't feel like messing up the water to clean those after I saw them in the pics.

Can anyone recommend a plant with foliage similar to watersprite or camboba that doesn't get much more than 10"? Otherwise I'd have to trim and clip endlessly.

Thanks so much

looks really good!

I'm gonna get one of those soon for a betta, only i think i'm going with an octagon, with a build in filter unit in the lid

what kind of light do you have on it? Is it built in. I have a 2.5g that I wanted to throw some plants in and put some cherry shrimp, but I cant find a small enough light thats effecient to put on it.

I don't know any plants, but I think that's a sweet little setup you got goin there.

bettas are monsters mine has eatin danios and guppys

It's a built in light. This is an eclipse 3, I believe, so it's got a built-in filter and light. From what I found it's a 6 watt light so if you go by wpg then I'm running 2. Which should be enough light for most plants that stay small enough to put in here.

I got some more plants the other night and picked up the main star of the show.

Thanks for the compliments so far. Hopefully all the plants will take nicely. I'm going to get more substrate when I'm back home where I left all my leftovers.

I picked him up at Big Al's Edmonton

I never see really good looking bettas around here in SoCal. I'm sure they're around, but I'm probably hitting the wrong stores. We ended up ordering ours from Thailand. Looks like he'll be a happy little guy.

Well I lucked out since I work there so I knew when we were getting out shipment in and I knew we were getting 50 halfmoons so I just had to pick through them. This was actually only the fourth one I saw but the gf wanted him so he's the lucky chosen one.
