How long after cycling can I add live rocks and anenomios or however you spell it? Yes I do have a powerful light. Thanks

The live rock should be in your tank while it is cycling. Some people say you should wait 6 months to a year before you add anenomes to your aquarium so your tank can build up nutrients in the water that nems need to thrive. But if you have your water parameters down to a science before 6 months i guess it would be safe to add one. You want to be careful with anenomes because when they die they release a toxin and could possibly do damage to your system. What is a "powerful" light?

78 watts, tank is exactly 28 gallons so that means we have 2.8 watts per gallon. tank is 36 inches.

Okay, Thanks for the advice.

2.8wpg isnt alot. Some anenomes need high amounts of lighting to survive like upwards of 4wpg or more. That low of lighting would be fine for just fish but personally i wouldnt put a nem in it. Buy a better more powerful light imo.
