Just starting to learn about planted aquarium

Hi All,

I am planning to move to a planted aquarium from my old simple aquarium.
Just love the green color that plants give to your aquarium
So, I was just surfing the youtube and found this channel who makes great planted aquarium and aquascaping.
However, I could not figure out how does the background eventually looks so bright and kinda white.

Is it a background color or sticker that is added or is it the affect of the light or both?

Attached a pic and the video(the backgroud is the one that is shown at the end) of the background that I am talking about.

As stated above, its the effect from a solid white vinyl sticker backing + LED lighting to give off that shimmering water effect...

This is my tank with white background and LED lighting except i have mine set with more blue hues to it...

So the pic I uploaded probably has a sticker with dual shade which becomes prominent by the led

I can easily reach the back of mine so no problems there...
