black pacu get much larger than redbellies, i say wait for your pond to be done and then get the black, you will be happy you did

When taking photos back away a little bit from the tank and take time to focus. Pictures will be clearer and nicer. Clean the glass might help too. Just trying to help. Nice little pacu you have thou. What size tank is he in and what is the backup plan for him in the near future.
