Just wanted to post a couple pics of my boy. A bit over 2 years old, and hopefully this weekend will be the beginning of his journey to be a father. Deciding between a vieja synspilum and a BP as the lucky lady, as I have both at my disposal.

Edit: Excuse the dark coloration in the first pic, it was dinner time and he gets......a bit glass-bangy.

Edit: Forgot to address the female situation. I too was leaning towards the vieja. Anyone know what kind of traits I can expect to be brought into the mix? My main concern was the head shape, mostly because I want a male to grow out.....

Syn will produce better fry but I would test it with a BP first as they are easier to pair.

Thanks for the info Chris. I brought him over there today and he's currently in with the vieja, as I just saw your post today. Good to know I have options though.

Will post a couple of pics soon, but they are relatively low quality, hope to get better later this week.
