Not Xingus at all. They are indeed Crenicichla sp. "Venezuela". The on-off lateral band, unocellated humeral blotch and uniform grey colour are the giveaways. Males have "fishbone" striations on their flanks. Females have pink/red bellies as well as a conspicuous white submarginal stripe in their dorsal fin.Mumtron;2580796; said:how do you sex them?
