these pics r updated of 2nite. i just took them. i seen he was out surprisingly so i snaped him. he got big. i had him for bout 1-1/2 to 2 months and he dam near tripled in size. i spoil my fish wen i feed them. he will probly eat bout 24 big guppys and 5-10 big rosy minows. hes a pig

Looks good. I hope you are feeding something else as a staple. Feeders are not the most nutritious or healthy of foods. And they will get very expensive as it gets big.

yah i also feed him sinking pellets, but i don't think he likes them too much. hopefully he will get used to them.

What I like to use as a staple is chicken( I buy the boneless breast and cut them up and cook them in the microwave)and also I toss in some pellets.

they are nocturnal animals and move around at night. If you cut out your lights and wait by the tank for 5 to 30 mins you will see your tsn swimming around hunting for food. You can ween him off of live food by offering blood worms or diced shrimp. You may have to starve him for sever days/weeks, but in the end he will be healthier for it. Live foods invite disaster. You could be feeding him fish that can transmit a desiese. If you must feed live food please quarantine it for two weeks prior to feeding them, and fatten up the feeders and dose them with meds.
