they are about 13"-14", how do you sex them and how big before they spawn? just wondering

typically you sex them by the rear fin under the tail fin.. I am no expert and they reach sexual maturaty like after 6 years or something...

and garuntee you wont spawn them in your tank, or anyone else for that matter..

thanks, it's pattern was even better looking when it was smaller. same with the darker one. i got that one since it was 4", but i'm actually looking to sell them both if i could
