Well My name is Kristan and my husband is Nathaniel we have both had aquariums in our lives since we were children. We now have 10 fish tanks and have 13 species of cichlids. 11 of them are Lake Malawi the other two are South American. We also have a tropical tank that has my Fahaka Puffer in it. So far he has not killed the peaceful fish that are in there but he is only 3 inches long at the moment. We have recently started breeding and selling our fish. Well they really did not give us much of an option on the matter. We are constantly adding new cichlids to our tanks our next purchase will hopefully be Red Festus cichlids. Nathaniel has always wanted them. We are fairly new to this hobby but we do a lot of research on a fish before we buy them. I have gotten advice from this site thanks to others asking the same questions I was googling.

I look forward to being a part of this forum it has helped me and I hope that I might get to help someone else.

Having all those tanks, at least one of them should include some Victorians. You are so close to D.R.F., he has a nice selection to choose from!
 
I have been wanting a Lake Victorian tank for some time now. Some how my husband has gotten his 2 South American tanks first lol. I am in the process of creating my all male tank. There are a few males that none of the females seem to like and the other males are beating them up. I am attached to them and do not want to get rid of them so I am going to get a 100 gal and make it a all boy tank. Where exactly is D.R.F. most of the LFS around here rarely have Lake Victorian and when they do it is the same three types of fish in every store.
