Just wanted to introduce myself

Hello all my name is Maren and I'm a new sting ray owner. I have wanted a stingray for a few years now. so my husband got me a reticulated stingray. We have had him for just over a week now an he happily eats frozen blood worms. Yesterday we bought another reticulated stingray this one is female. I feel like we saved her the store had her in a 20g with a marbo that was about 8" and 2 other fish, she needed way more space. She eats live black worms and ghost shrimp. I am hoping that we can get her on the frozen blood worms same that the other ray is on. Then hopefully get both of them to eat frozen shrimp and earth worms.
I tried to get some good pictures key word being tried lol

Nice Rays! They look great but once they get bigger you will need to feed something other than blood worms. Good Luck and welcome!

Welcome! Buy some nightcrawlers and chop them up just make sure you remove all uneaten food

Thanks everyone! Yes there is alot of great info on here I have been trying to soak it all in.

Question should I just try to get both rays on the night crawlers vs trying to get the female on blood worms and then both onto night crawlers. Right now the female eats black worms and the male eats blood worms.

It doesn't hurt to try night crawlers now. Mix the new foods with the old for 15 mins before you add it to the tank. This sometimes helps the old smell mix with the new. Rays often will start feeding on new items if they see another ray doing so too, probably due to competition.
