some neat pictures of my son's tank. Currently he has 3 zebra danios, 1 gold gourami, 1 silver gourami, 2 snails, 3 ghost shrimp, and 1 albino bushynose pleco. Enjoy!

looks good. what size tank is it?

It all starts with the small 10 to 20 gallon...

then the 40-55 phase hits...

then the tanks start getting into the 3 digit numbers (and notice I said "tanks" plural)

then...

Welcome to the fun filled world of fish and you thought you were just showing us a few picture of your 20 gallon! (Which is nice even with the pink gravel)

Shhhh....don't tell my husband he already thinks I've gone off the deep end getting a 40 gallon lol! I've already got a 55 gallon tank lined up but have nowhere to put it(yet;)) You can thank my 4yr old son for the pink gravel. The new 40 gallon will have natural colored sand lol. He'll get to keep a little 5 gallon in his room with the shrimp and snails and the pink gravel haha!

Sandy have you ever considered holding off a little longer and getting a 75gal. That is a tank with good dimensions for what you are doing and give you a little more room to play with. Also nice pictures.

Thanks Jeffrey! I could do that...but I'd have to wait for 4+ years. I don't really want to set up anything bigger than a 40gal as my Husband and I will be moving in about 4ish years(once I'm done with nursing school). I'd rather wait till we have our own house before I set up anything bigger than a 40gal. I don't think it is fair to make the gouramis wait that long for more space. I plan on having a bigger tank once we do move but with our living arrangements now I'd prefer not to set up a larger tank.

The large tank/large fish bug bit me. Its loads of fun to have big fish!

very nice  love the pink gravel LoL

Welcome to MFK Sandy. This is a great site. I started with a 15g a year ago now I have MTS.
