i find that my other piranha may have gotten the same disease as my previous one that died. Im not sure whether if it's just a injury from bumping too much on glass or not, but there r some white mark under my piranha's eye right on the cheek.it look similar to the injury of my previous piranha, which had the mark on its belly. gonna get water tested tommorrow. give me tips plz cuz i dont want to lose this one too.:confused::confused:

is it like fungus or paraistes? really need some clear photos to see what it might be.

From the pics i thought it was ammonia burn, it looked like the slime coat was peeling off. I know you mentioned that you "practically do 50 percent water changes every week" but have you not checked water params at all since the last one was ill?

Dude, Im sorry to hear about your problem, we've all been there, but you really need to invest in an ammonia test kit and a nitrite test kit.
They are a must have, for any fish keeper. Good luck

water change 25-30% every day or every other day until nitrate is back to normal.

pH is 6.5, ammonium 0,nitrite .5, nitrate 100... wow, where the hell is the nitrate comming from
i'd watch that .5 ppm nitrite too it's not enough to kill your fish (nor does it cause these symptoms) but it will slow down the recovery time of your fish becuase of the stress it causes them.
