just wondering about Cheweres

I have a 30 gallon tank I would like to dedicate to Pseudotropheus elongatus Chewere . I was just wondering if any one has any suggestions on the number i can put in tank at a ratio of 1male -3 female

I would say just the one group. I have a group of Hongi 2m/4f in a 30 gallon and they are just right. I wouldn't add anymore.

i have a butt load of chewere , and at 1 point i had 2 m 3 f ratio in my 30g and it worked out fine, but it wouldnt be large enough for life

Thanks I was figuring I wouldnt be able to put more than 6 in the tank . There are a lot of hiding places in tank. Now I have to find a place to get them .There is nowhere locally that has them anymore .I had some before in a larger mixed tank and they were my favorites. Any one no any reputiable online that would have sexed juvinals
