I have an fx5 with 3 trays filled with Eheim substrat pro in media bags. An a 55 gallon sump running on a 360 gallon with 3 P. Bass, an Indo and a NGT dat. My question is, would it be ok to have the sump run on timer for just 12 hours or would it hurt the beneficial bacteria with such a light bio-load? 6am to 12pm then turn back on at 6pm to 12am just for a lil save on electricity purposes?
