is it my imagination or does fresh water tanks seem to cloud up a bit right before a storm? had a rough storm move through the other night noticed my 50 gallon fresh water tank was a little cloudy got up the next morning and it was clear as a bell once again.

Happened during hurricane Ike or whatever it was called the one which came here and we Los power and I looked and my tank was cloudy as hell I think it's the fish panicking to try and escape and hide as many animals have senses of bad weather such as how dogs and cats hide before a storm same thing may happen with the fish.

I've never seen it, but I'd be inclined to go with andrew's post. although in the case of just normal rain it could be excitement too. lots of fish feed well after a rainstorm. cories are supposed to be more likely to breed during low pressure spells.
