juv red SH behavior

i know thee bad boys are hard core preadators but do the team up? i mean i just bought 3 from my lfs and as soon as a droped them out of the bag they ate a feed like they cam out the bag and ate a feed that was quite a stunning appearence for me no fish in my whole life has ever eaten a fish straight out the bag. i mean thats hardcore.. (ohh and i put them in a tank with my oscars only for a hour or two there not in there anymore i had them in there casue there tank was too cold. my heater had failed in a poweroutage there in there own tank for now.) and later i had a oscar about 5in long and the snake heads were all 2-3in long and they started to tussle (casue the territory was the oscars) they ended up in a draw. but what i found amazing was that there are 3oscars each 4-5in long and as soon as the oscar attacked one of the snakeheads all the snakeheads team up on the oscar.. these fish are just plain smart.

these guys are compatible with alligator gars correct?

Alli Gars will attack them or the SH will attack the gars depending on the size, the gars will out grow the SH for sure though. Just be careful!

yea.. well ive never had probs with my AG.and hes about double there size aboud 4.5in

i wouldnt try mixing them.
three SHs and one gator is BAD.
yes,theyll team up and kill other fish too big to eat.
they become more aggressive as the number of them rises.
even two will kill off other fish.
so be careful.
my babies killed off about 10 - 15 too big to eat platies in 2 days.
they also tear apart shrimp thats too big to eat.

ive found that red SHs are not picky at all.
except with pellets...
the first time i tried they went nuts for it.
