here's my question, i breed angels and have for quit a few yrs now
i have pariba pinoys(blacks) for some reason i can't seem to keep them alive there 50c peice in size i am keeping these to pair off
I lose about one or two a week which is really strange considering i have smokie pinoys from the same batch and haven't lost a one also haven't lost any of my phillipino blue
my ph is high has been since they were hatched there very ph tolerant i raised them this was so that even the new angelfish buyers would have more success in keeping them and has worked for yrs now and people that get them have not ever complained about loosing them i even guaranteeing them to replace any dead ones, i do water changes 25% every wed and 50% every saturday, nitrate nitrite levels are within range, no salt added to tank ever only salt used is in nurse tanks
heres my tank set up,,
75 bare bottom, slate and fake plants only, hang on the back filter
fish in tank: 8 phillipino blues silver dollar sized,
15 pinoy pariba's (black and smokie ) also 50c sized
1 bristle nose pleco
any help would be appreciated
