I have a carpintis, a synspilum, an electric blue acara pair, and a midas. All of these fish get along really well except for the smallest- a juvie carpintis rescue. He/she's only aggressive towards my male syn which is considerably bigger. It only chases the syn around and seems fine when they're right next to each other, it's like it has to keep an eye on it or something. The syn doesn't show any aggression back but seems to want some personal space sometimes which the carpintis is not ok with. It seems too young to be exhibiting mating behavior but that seems to be the case... Any thoughts MFKers?

They're all babies. Just let em be. They'll outgrow that tank pretty quick....6-8 months you'll have to make some decisions. When they hit 4-6 inches, they'll be teenagers, it'll get....interesting. When they hit 8-10 inches, they'll be like young adults. 10-12 inches, they'll be adults, and your 90 gallon will be a war zone.
