Hey guys, just a small thread on the juvenile male con I picked up recently; after the female I had couldn't cope with my GT.

Looks to be doing OK, couple of marks on his head that I'm keeping a close eye on, the GT also hates him so I'm debating adding another male con to spread things out, don't know.

Cheers lol, he's pretty small; the GT is quite rough and tumble though, so I have a few options of what to do depending on how things go

He is good looking. I have a theory what if you added a female con. Every convict pair I had kept most fish at bay. When they breed it makes them more aggressive. Then you also have food supply for the GT with the fry. Just a thought.

He will still end up with about 17,000 convict fry three months after adding the female.

Nope, haven't experienced it with cons before; though I just stick to hardy, easy to grow plants like anubias
