Juvenile EB Jack Demsey in Aqauscaped Tank?

Hi,
Have a 750L Aqauascaped Tank, and really want to add a Juvenile EBJD , wiill he uproot and destroy all the plants or has anyone had fish like that before that will leave the tank be?

My ebjd uproots my plants all the time but he didnt start doing until he was bigger...id say go for it
