I have 8 juvenile firemouths ranging from 1/2" to 1" that need a new home as the parents just had another batch hatch. These aren't your typical, wimpy little firemouths, either. These are street-tough, refuse-to-die, "I can take anything!" firemouths. They were raised in a 55 gallon tank with the parents, a 9" pleco, an 8" severum, 2 other firemouths, and 2 juvenile Texas cichlids with no screen over the filter.

I have since got rid of the 2 Texas cichlids and one firemouth, moved the severum and the remaining firemouth, and added some dither fish; so they're now in with just the parents, the pleco, some giant danios, and their 300 new brothers and sisters.

PM me here, or call my cell at 828-333-0008 if you're interested.

Also for free, if you'd rather have a batch of fry than juvenile firemouths, I can siphon out the current batch once they're slightly older. They're not adventuring beyond the pot they hatched in yet, so I think it's too early to remove them from the parents. Because they haven't adventured out, I'm not sure of the number in this brood, but the last one was between 150-200 total fry.
