Juvenile GT parasite??

Hey guys just received my gold saum after a long awaited order and he/she doesnt seem quite as lively as my other cichlids. He is 1 inch and in a 55 gal growout tank with a jack (same size) and a firemouth thats smaller. He every now and again shakes his body and scrapes himself against the rocks, pebbles or driftwood. Is this just a parasite or water issue that will pass or does he need treatment? Cheers

So after reading and observing i think he may have itch? Is it possible that he might just recover and am i able to use house salt to treat him in the method described in the freshwater disease link or is there a special salt ill need.

You should have quarantined that fish. Keep watching for further symptoms but don't treat yet. If possible, have praziquantel in stock since flukes may also be the problem.
