Hi, about a month ago i bought a 4" cichla monoculus from my lfs. This is my first cichla, i recently moved and had to get rid of all my cichlids and then decided to get a peacock. Anyways i was wondering if juvenile monos develope spotting on their dorsal fin? I have seen this on juvi occellaris but wasnt sure if maybe i have a hybrid or farmy. Srry i dont have any pics at the moment but will hopefully get some soon. Thanks alot.
