Juvi 9" Dovii just fine in 90 gallon for now.

Just got a nice new 120 g. tank, don't have a stand yet. Currently have a lone 9" male Dovii in a 90 g., and a 4-5" Green terror with a few others in a 40 g. I'm really liking the Dovii in the 90.......He seems very chill and comfortable in there. I'd like to eventually move him to the 120, but I'm not sure I'm ready yet at his size. When should I move him for sure?? I know most of you would say get him a 300 Gallon now!!! Hahahaha...... In all seriousness though, he's only hovering near the 10" mark!? Is the 120 really necessary? At his size now?

Upgrades are always good, whenever the 120 is ready for him move him. Why wouldn't you want to give it more room and water volume for easier upkeep.

i'mk sure the dovii wouldnt mind being moved but ultimatley its up to you, the sooner the better in my opinion, soon as i got my 180 i was pumped to move my guy right away, when i did he had a huge growth spurt

Yea, I am psyched to move him. It's just i want everything to be right, no stand yet, top, or light. He's still well under a foot, I think he's doing well in the 90 for now. Wish I could post pics, I may try and figure out how to get some up this weekend.
