Juvi Clown Trigger

Has anyone had success keeping Clown triggers with smaller fish like puffers, and hawkfish? I just got a juvi 2'' clown in my tank and i have some fish that are as big as he is if not bigger, however, they remain much smaller then him when fully grown, what are there chances of survival?

Clown triggers are pretty mean bastards. I'd say watch out for aggression when he puts on some size.

i have to agree with scuba kid. a friend of mine had a 2" clown trigger and it went anal one day and killed his 3" dogface puffer...you have to watch them, they have different personalities, but watch it closely.

when they are young they tend to be more amicable, but as they grow they seem to get this pent up rage and one day explode on whatever is in biting range, i'd say you have till he's about 5-6" till he goes psycho

Depends on the temperment of the clown they are hit and miss but if you plan on not keeping him past 5/6 inches you should be good, however as he grows you may not want to get rid of him they are awesome fish!!
