Juvi dovii question please help

Just wondering if anyone can tell me if when someone[me] buys some of the smaller juvi doviis out of a spawn can they still reach the same size as the larger ones someone else would have purchased before me?please anyone know,as i could only get smallest 7 out of a batch as the big ones where sold.please give me your opinions.thanks & i must add its really great to be able to discuss & share all things cichlids with u all.this site is great!!!!!:D

the total length of the adult fish, depends on a few factors,

tank size
water quality
feeding
etc
but mostly it's gentetics, you may get a larger growing one, you may get one that grows a little smaller, captive males, tend to max out at 19-20", captive females at 16", so they should get to about that.

:iagree: also when fry grow together in the same tank, the bigger ones are usually the dominant ones, if removed then a new dominant fish emerges, therefore i believe that your seven "runts" will do fine as far as growing out is concerned
 
rapps has some nice juvies know...the ones i got a few months back are monsters and there color is amazing....they are f1 juvies..wild ones are always better...usually large genetics..
