My 1.5" fei feng just bit the big one, he looked like he was eating, but there is no way he was, he was all skinny and sunk in. I feed an array of food to all my fish, including blood worms, earthworms, different fish, market shrimp, peas, freeze dried krill, flakes, sinking and floating carnivore pellets, algae wafers, There was even algae on the driftwood for him. What was I missing? Thanks.

First sentence doesn't many any sense at all. But in terms of diet, a fei feng of that size will love to have blood worms.

When did you get it? If you recently got it, give it time to settle in. I'm pretty sure it will eat blood worms just like every other fish does.

When I got my 2" FF , it did not eat for 3 days until he got settled and ate bloodworms and hikari sinking pellets. He grew an inch and a half in 12 days. Just be patient, your FF will eat anytime soon.

just a question out of topic how fast do this fish grow?

I'm sorry you didn't get the 1st sentence, I'll type slower... My fei-feng just died, he looked as though he was eating with the other fish(opening and closing his mouth while his face was in the food), but after he died and was removed from the aquarium, it was far more obvious that he was not eating and had probably starved. Is that better?

It's too late he died, but I'm going to get another, probably a little bigger though. Thanks for the advice though.

Bloodworms are always a good start ten try and get it onto other foods, high quality hikari foods are goodfor raising fish especially massivore.
I tried bloodworms and he wouldn't take them, but I hope to get another to replace him and try again. Thanks
