Juvi Pearsei and Bocourti

About 2 months ago I picked up 5 new cichlids. 1 H. Bocourti, 1 H. Pearsei, and 3 "F0" Hrp's. The HRP pair i got has their own tank and is breeding away happily, and the 2 future monsters are in a divided section of my 220. There is enough room for them to come and go as they please but they still have a safe retreat as well. so far they have been getting along fine with my curent stock. Stocklist is as follows

1 male green sev- 7"
1 male Fm- 5"
1 male convict- 4.5"
1 unsexed GT- 4"
4 Flagtails- 4-7" (rescued)
1 L001 13"
1 L190 6"
1 L052 4.5"
1 fire eel 16"(ish)

Anyways I tried to get some good pics of the new guys, however the flagtails and my green sev LOVE the camera, I still managed to get some decent pics mainly of the bocourti. Sorry for the water spots!




When I got them the Bocourti was 2-2.5" and the Pearsei was 2". Now the Pearsei is over 3.5" and the Bocourti is still < 3". both eat like pigs and are very cool little fish. both are very fiesty for their size. anybody have any growth rate experience with either of these? so far my Pearsei is growin like an oscar and the Bocourti is growing about like a GT. Also at what size are they sexable?

I will try to get 1 up 2morow, my camera died due to the fact I had to take Tons of pics just to get the few I managed to get.

they both look good, on my wish list. how are the flagtails behaving? i have never tried them with cichlids,i know others do it.i have heard stories that they can inflict wounds in fishes sides?

They are pretty well behaved, they were all the same size, around 3" and then one hit a huge growth spurt. The biggest is a little over 7" and the other 3 around 4.5". The 3 smaller ones bicker amongst themselves, but even the small bocourti easily runs off the 7" flagtail. So they actually have made really good dithers so far, but I will have to rehome all but the biggest within the next year I think due to conspecific aggression.

Thanks! what all did you get? anyone else have growth rate experience with these guys, my bocourti is going to be dwarfed soon by my pearsei I think.
