I was thinking of buying a few dithers or other compatible tankmates to bring out my Festaes a little more. I have six that range from 2"-5" in a 125gal. I tried Giant Danios and they worked great for a day until my Festaes shredded them. I was forced to remove the remaining four Danios to save them. I am thinking of Silver Dollars but I am also open to any other fish that would work.

Hmm try introducing the silver dollers during a waterchange and move things around to distract them more. That may give them a better chance.. how many danios did you introduce the first time?
I added seven danios and they were larger than the Festae. The tank is due for a water change next week. I'll try to add the Silver Dollars then. How many do you suggest, maybe six?
You could also try some convicts to help bring out your festae. Added bonus of feeder fish as well.
I would try convicts.Just try to get all the same sex because they will be nasty lil buggers if they breed!
I have had Cons before and I love the lil' guys. They bred like crazy! I know getting a pair would be trouble. So I guess it's between Silver Dollars and Convicts.
