hey all what's going? i just got one question, what is the biggest age gap anyone has had when placing 2 RBP together? my older RBP Dexter is a complete lazy ass, while the young one is a psycho. so far i have not had any problems with them but u never know. how long should it take the juvenile to grow? (he is about 2.5 inches while dexter is about 5. dexter could care less that the little guy is in his tank and the little guy thinks he has found a new BF. any info would be helpful thxs.

P.s are un predictable, one minute they could be best friends, the next ones getting its head chomped on. but it depends on the fish i suppose

It's all about care given and the setup provided....IMO

I have great "luck" with doing the impossible setup's......

this is good to hear i plan to put a couple more young ones in with my mature ones.i always have a default tank ready just in case!! i wouldnt think there would be a problem, in the wild there are huge age gaps but still they pack.any info is good thanks guys.

sweet deal i was a little worried, but i do have a nice setup where they can escape each other- the pleco has a spot that they cant get to if they tried. and one more little thing... is it just all piranha that don't eat the fish heads? i feed them feeders and i still have yet to see a whole fish eaten, even when i put one in the tank for the both of them... the stupid fish end swimming around with just a head and gills trying to eat ****... it is kinda disturbing (on the + side my 4 year old niece thinks it is the funniest thing she has ever seen and will sit and watch and laugh untill she gets bored or the fish dies... kids.) i will try to post a pic of my setup and the two p's
