Juvie silver aro feeding ?'s

Just got one, first aro, figured silver would be the beginners aro.. Anyways Its in with much smaller pacu ( quarter sized) the aro around 5". What's a good food to feed the aro so far it only wants to eat spiritulina flakes, I've tried freeze dried shrimp he has no intrest.

Have u tried floating pellets?

Best to get it eating pellets or food sticks before expanding the menu to other foods. Try breaking/crushing the pellets and feeding with the flakes, this will get him to develop a taste for the pellets. After a few days of this he should start eating pellets. You should be feeding and aro this size 3x a day.
