juvie water monitor feeding

here's a noob question directed towards varanid keepers in MFK regarding feeding:
i fed my juvie V. salvator marmoratus three f/t quail chicks last night but didnt eat them til early in the morning. i was wondering if that would be harmful. i know that monitors are opportunistic feeders and eat carrion in the wild, but i want reassurance. TIA

I think its fine. Make shure you keep him on a varied diet and have that monster enclosure ready for him when it grows, dont forget to take pics.
