What do the forum thinks of ken fish flakes especially the chicken liver flakes? would like to purchase them for my two feather fin catfish? Would like to purchase 1/2 lbs of chicken liver flake with vegetable flake 1/2 lbs from ken fish farm and feed a mixture of the two.

I'm a long time NLS fan, regardless of what else is marketed and how great it sounds I still stick with NLS but recently a LFS got in some of the Premium veggie stuff and I was a bit intrigued since the ingredient list was actually decent.
Fish didn't care for it much or at least they don't attack it like they do NLS. Even after a starving period it was more like they ate it cause they had to, also hate the mess flakes make.

I've used Ken's Fish flakes (tropical, vegetable, spirulina, tropheus lovers, brine shrimp, earthworm). Never tried the chicken liver flakes. All my fish eat them with no problem. Ken and his wife are good people who support local fish clubs.
I have been using his flakes and an array of his pellets and I have no problems with it at all. My fish are all healthy, colorful and breeding.
I haven't tried Ken's flakes, but I do feed his pellets and sticks. All my fish love them and are showing great coloring and growth.
+1 I also don't feed the flakes but my fish love the pellets! Right now I feed a mixture of NLS Thera A+, hikari carnivore pellets, Ken's krill pellets and spirulina pellets. My fish all fight and squabble over the mixture and never leave a morsel behind. I've also fed ken's growth formula pellets to my fry and they loved it.
my friends and I have purchased various types of Ken fish food. Ranging from powder size for my baby cichlids to their largest size pellets for my friends catfish. All fish ate their food and good growth rate and colors. Even my friends red belly piranhas ate the sinking pellets. Overall great price for the delivered quality.
