K1 in AC110

Is K1 useful at all as bio media if stagnant in an AC110?. Or should I use bio rings?

Bio rings. K1 needs to circulate. That's what it was designed for. Plus the space is so limited and not be able to put enough in the ac110 to affect ur tank. What's ur stock?

Everything is less expensive than K1. That application is not ideal for it.
