K1 media and meds

Is it normal for k1 media to stop tumbling after dosing prazipro. I dosed my 275 gallon and 75g sump with prazi as a preventative. Noticed my k1 media stopped tumbling?

Never known that.
I use powder form and the media has never stopped tumbling.

Yeah mine did. I used the liquid form of prazi. It made my water somewhat foamy. I guess that's just didnt think it would make my k1 stop tumbling.

Prazipro shouldn’t do that.

Thanks all. Apparently a few other have experienced this as well.

I think the fact that my water line was just below my spray made it bubble/foam up. Next time I will keep the water line above my spray bar. Hopefully that will prevent this
