K1 media

I have been looking into K1 media and want to give it ago. Is there anywhere to get it in the UK or is just ebay and the shop in the UK? Also it is a little pricey and I know there are imitations out there. Any of the imitations as good?

great. do you know how to determine the quantity needed?

I googled "how much k1 per gallon" and found some information on a Koi forum. I use 150 gallon sump with about 35 gallons of k1 inside. IMO WAY overkill, I aerate with a pondmaster ap 100 and have a heavily stocked 450. never have a trace of ammonia and nitrite. I'll try to find the link for you.
