K1 moving bed filter

Friends is this stupid or worth it any advice?
I have space in those 2 compartments seaclear 75 uniquariums and stuffed K1 media and airstones and the media is moving fine. Was kinda wasted space. A little messy but seems to spin alot of k1 in both compartments!
Is this idea trash

Not stupid but you may have more biomedia than needed. That's a good thing imo.

Awesome that's what I was thinking! Had the k1 on the side of the tank divided with a matala pad they were spinning nice but taking up tank space!
