Kamfa Flowerhorn

Tell me what you guys think of this kamfa? Can you flowerhorn experts tell me if its male or female? I plan on breeding it to my red texas project fry or my HRP.

Yep zz male I dunno about the fader part though but you never know. kamfa have a body style more similar to the fish in my avatar

Its a ZZ not Kamfa at all, probable male.

Wow thanks guys, im a noob on the flowerhorns. So zz are better then kamfa? and you guys think its male? any ideas on what i should pair it up with when it gets older?

No strain is better than another strain. But since ZZ is the basic strain so the argument could be made Kamfa is better.

Thanks Chris, i appreciate the education. Mind if I pick your brain a bit lol? How did the kamfa strain come about and what are the zz strain? Any idea what to pair it with when it gets older? its flirting with my jack dempsey female as i type, i dont know whats in my water but i like it.

kamfas are part zz. just a different strain with different characteristics. the kamfa's noticeable characteristics come from either parrot or vieja
