Kamfa Fry from Ebay

Well, after worrying and waiting...my new Kamfa fry came in from Ebay. I have never bought anything live other than plants but I decided to take a chance and here they are!!!
I bought 4 and got 5 and all are alive and seemingly well!!! I can hardly wait to see what I get with these lil guys as they begin to grow!

Hey Guys!!!!!

Thought Id post an update on my baby kamfas!
I have 4 of the 5 originals.All 5 were doing fantastic until the smallest one managed to slip through the divider into the section with the" Beast "of the bunch who promptly devoured half of him. OMG! The biggest, most prettiest one is just a monster! He is vicious and terribly mean! I love it!
The next closest one is just a bit smaller and he is a shy fellow and looks just like the mean one. The 3rd one is almost solid black and the 4th is really dark spotted. 3 of them constant change shades and are showing a good deal of pinkish red but the blackish one just stays dark.
They all have grown a great deal in just the month I ve had them which suprises me! I read somewhere they grow slow lol.

So you need more tanks ASAP. Your flowerhorns are tearing each other apart. Get them separated so they can grow and not kill each other.

 

[Aquatic Aggression]

You will have better growth if you thin them out. You want 5 unhappy unhealthy flowerhorn or would you like a nice one? They should grow about 1" a month and aggression will intensify.

Offer some for sale locally, make a new fishkeeper friend and score a few bucks for omega one or hikari pellets

Oh yes they are in separate tanks now, just in the 1 tank for about a month as I was setting up the others. 1 will post more pics as they grow
