Hes looking good bro. Did you move the old filter over to his new tank? Would hate you see you lose this guy to an uncycled tank.
Hey dude... well this is what I did before I put him in:
Switched ONE peice of foam from old fluval 405 with one new peice of sponge from the new fluval
Switched one tray of carbon from old fluval to new fluval
put on a hang on filter I was using for a long time... without the carbon..but added seachem nitrate down.
I did water tests...daily..ammonia is 0...nitrite is 0... but nitrate is close to 0 to.... i added him only yesterday.... maybe the bacteria did not get ammonia yet?
I don't have nitrate readings BEFORE i added him..but slowly it is getting stronger after I did test today to?
Chris.. if i do water tests DAILY... for like 2-3 weeks is that safe, JUST in case i need to do a water change due to mini cycle problem?

I'd say your safe, but this is the fish that cost you a grand+ right? Yeah I'd be doing water changes every other day haha
