Kayaking anyone ?

Any kayakers out here ? I have two, a Prion hercules creeker and a ocean kayak prowler 13 .

Started last year doing some white water, but may give it up as it's really not fun when you flip and the water holds you down..... :nilly:

The ocean kayak is a sit on top and good for fishing / snorkeling or just lounging, can jump off it and climb back on .
 
Me and my bf dont own any yet, but we are looking to buy hobie's sometime by the end of the year (hopefully). We loveee kayaking though! when we have time we will rent them and kayak up the springs that are down there, its pretty fun. We dont have rapids/white water down here though..

They look like fun ......

Wouldn't mind one for me self, easy to haul , good for the surf and days when you don't need much gear....

Hauling the bigger one can be a pita, but the prowler is good for fishing and stuff, it carries allot and can be tricked out for fishing...

Where might down there and down here be... Just a regional will do..... State , hemisphere maybe lol.....

Take lessons for rapids , They can hurt, like I was saying, I may just stick to the easier stuff.. Live longer....:eek:

What kinda kayaks have ya used ?
 
I wouldn't mind trying surfing or that sport, sail boarding is it ? Like wind surfing with a sail or parachute thing there. Looks like a blast .Tad pricey to get into...
 
o__o down here/there would mean FL I ve used ocean kayaks before and at the springs they have a mix and I never really bothered to look at what they were. I have pictures somewhere maybe I'll post them if I find them.

Surfing is fun once you get the hang of it.
 
lol :ROFL: well it takes arm muscle and alot of falling in ways that are painfull like face first into your board.... having your fin slice your arm.... board land on face/nose.... ohhh and the people who drop in on you.. and you slam into eachother.. thas always fun!! you know..:headbang2 :screwy:

Its loads of fun though, it took me awhile to learn but man when you catch your fist big wave its a rush, sorta like flying on water (if that makes sense), to make my first experience even better it was clear blue water a decent wave for fl (5-6ft) and there were 2 baby tiger sharks swimming in the wave.. it was pretty cool.

no its is fun though :D I havent been in awhile though, no one will go anymore cuse they all moved away :(

I think I need to stop de-railing...
