kayaking with humpback whales

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Looks like a close one, from the angle it's hard to tell how close they were to actually contacting whale.

TOO close for comfort! that's all I know.

According to Yahoo News, one of the kayakers called it "the most extraordinary thing to happen to me."

"We were taken under the water by the whale, perhaps in the down-draft." he said. "I think it brushed against me while I was out of the kayak... Neither of us know how we weren't ended there and then."

Other kayakers in the area helped the couple empty their kayak and return to the water, Yahoo reports.

I've never heard of whales helping people

dolphins and maybe orcas, but not whales

Ive seen news stories, mostly helping divers that have gotten caught or pushing dogs back to shore. Cant say 100% they're real but some of the diver ones are on video

Lol@jackholes

I mean, look at this bully! an old couple just trying to enjoy a day on the water. this whale has the entire ocean to go breaching and it breaches on this boat causing thousands and could've ended badly

and if you guys are familiar with this picture, this dark skinned whale was intimidating this light skinned diver. he was in fear of his life and thought he was gonna get crushed underwater.

remember this poor lady? she was dragged like 50 ft under and almost died that day. I think her sunblock tasted bitter and the whale needed to get the taste out of it's mouth and let her go
