Anybody here keeping their rays with Arowanas?
I'm thinking if i can put my 10 inch Bds with my 20 inch Asian arowana?
a little hesitant, anybody here has bad experience with Arowana damaging the rays?

Yes mate I have a 18" Asian with 4 BD, 2 Pearls and a Hybrid all of varying sizes from 10" to 22" disc.
The Asian has taken a dislike to the Pearls but gets on with the other rays which is very strange.
All I can say is every fish is different. This has worked all year but has just started becoming an issue and I don't know why

thanks :) Have to clean my bigger tank get new cover and add more filter media.
btw , tank has some clown loaches ranging from 4-7 inches. should i remove the clown loaches?
will rays be able to compete with the clown loaches for food? or better to remove the clown loaches and just leave an arowana and 2 rays in the tank?

I had a 20" aro with my snow's (12" and 8")and he just hated when they swam up on the glass. Always pushed them back down but other than that no issues.

Clown loach won't have a chance to out compete the rays for food. Give them a place to rest and they will be fine so long as they not too small

thanks :) Because currently my clown loaches eat like piranhas, so I'm thinking the food might not reach my rays at the bottom :)
I'll leave 3-4 big ones with my rays and transfer smaller ones into the other tank.
I have PVC pipes in my tank, they are the loaches sleeping quarter :)

I don't know why, but this is hilarious to me. Just picture the aro shoving them back to the bottom every time they try to swim up the glass lol
