So I finally moved my 14-15" Black Aro into the 210 gal tank w/ some of my Dats. I have two Dats that are about 5-6" and are getting thick, so I'm not worried about them.

I do however have another 4" thinbar that is not quite as thick as the other fellas. Is he gonna be safe with the black aro? He's about 1/3 of the length of the aro. Still looks bigger than what could fit in the aro's mouth. lol.

I found my black aro to be quite placid, and generally didn't go after other fish unless they were tiny. I had it in with a group of CL's about 3" when it was around 15" and it seemed more spooked by the loaches than they were of him! He was on a strict diet of pellets tho, maybe that helps reduce aggression towards other fish?

I hope that is the case. My black aro has been on a steady diet of market prawns, floating pellets, and food sticks since I got him about 5-6 months . I have never given him any live fish, although I believe the owner before me did for a few weeks. I'm hoping the width of the dat will dissaude my aro from making any attempts. haha.
