I understand that if your male/female ratio isn't appropriate that often times the males will fight with each other, or be aggressive to the male causing fin damage from biting ...
Heres my question;
If you keep a group of ALL males together, will that suppress aggression? Will they fight amongst themselves with no females present?
The scenario would be a breeding operation in which the male to female ratio is nearly 1:1 and the breeding (hybridization
) needs to be under strategically controlled conditions.
I was curious if keeping all the males together was an option? Then when I wanted to choose the 'stud' to knock up a few females, I could more specifically pick and choose to produce the results I want..
