keeping a redfin pike in the uk

can someone give me any info on getting hold of, and keeping redfin pike here in the uk

when you say redfin pike i assume you mean the common pike we have here in the rivers of the uk? and occasionally lakes...

the esox we have here is Esox lucius or northern pike
im looking for is Esox americanus or redfin pickerel..
 
It should be noted that this question would be better answered in the cold water/natives/temperate fish sub-forum, as these species are not ancients.

esox are not ancient at 65 million years old!
