I want to have a shortnose strugeon so bad but before i get one i need someting anwered. Can i mix a shortnose strugeon with my bullesye snakehead, wolffish, paroon shark, rtc, snc, vampire fish, ally gar, and 40 inch bass? huge right. Anyway there also in a 10,000 gallon pond my backyard. Can i get the sturgeon? Or do i need to start another pond or aquarium?
p.s i'm not in the u.s just didn't change my location yet.:nilly:

what is a short nose sturgoen anyway? every sturgoen seem to have short nose!

^^ No, sturgeon don't all have shortnoses. Siberian sturgeon.. just google image it.

As for can you put it in your pond... It would depend. How big is the sturgeon? And what are your water temps?

Sturgeons prefer cooler waters, and they NEED to eat. They can't be competing for food because they would lose every time. Their mouths are on the bottom, so they can't much defend themselves.

The snakehead and wolffish would be my main concern.

the guy i'm buyibg from says its about 5 feet now. i keep my temps in the 75-77 degree. and you'll probulary right thank you.

MY GAWD what do you spend a week on feed?!?!?!!!!!

I think it would be cheaper to feed a pride of lions.

i make about 7,500 a month so its nothing and i live alone with noone to make my money go quickly. well expect my girlfriend and we are in a huge fight now.

If you want a sturgeon, buy one small that you can keep in an aquarium and watch it grow.. by the time it gets big enough for the pond, your stocking might have changed. IMO when keeping sturgeons, they should be the only bottom feeders.

I am currently growing out 6 siberians. Bought at 2", and are already almost 6" in just a few months.
